Get your hair done? I love my stylist, Carly Wonder, from Meraki Room.

Use apps One Night or Hotel Tonight if you’re looking for a last minute deal on a luxury hotel.

The L is an easy system – you can buy a ticket at the window.
Uber > Taxi … But seriously, Uber is cheaper & tends to be more friendly. PS. Uber Pool for cheaper fare, but not if you’re on a time crunch!
DIVVY bikes are easy to use, but $9.95/hour — not cheap. Also, please note that you shouldn’t be bicycling on the sidewalk. There’s a bike lane that flows with traffic. Wear a helmet. Be smart. I witnessed several bike accidents within the first couple of months we lived here

PS. You can shop on Michigan Ave, but I recommend getting off the tourist path and exploring a few of my favorite neighborhoods: West Loop, Wicker Park, & Pilsen.
