Hello, 2023: What's IN, What's OUT, & What I'm Using to Reach My Goals

2022: What a year! 👀Full of grit and grace.

Our baby turned one. He learned to walk, which quickly turned into sprinting.👶🏼
We found our dream daycare for him, and I regained a part of my being.🎓
We traveled way too much. It was good, and it was hard with a toddler. Over 25 flights, and several international trips.✈️
I completed a contract job assisting with people who are experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles.🌆
My book Soul Care To Save Your Life came out! It was full of trials and triumphs.📓
I became fast friends with a person God knew I needed, and met my LA mom bestie randomly at a coffee shop.👯‍♀️
E’s music business took flight.🎧
We had so many visitors and hosted just about every weekend we weren’t traveling.👫🏼
And we savored the few weekends we were home by ourselves.💕
Our foster license finally arrived.🎉
The Happiest Boy Who Never Sleeps™️ gave us a run for our money. Parenting Shia has been the most humbling journey.
My word was PRIORITIES, and I held that intention closely.🫶🏼

To kick off 2023, I re-launched A Longer Table Podcast with a solo episode where I shared my word + hopes for the new year and talked about what’s to come for my business and family. You can listen to the 25 minute episode here. I also brain-dumped a list of things I’m declaring “IN/OUT” for 2023 and am going to live by these as much as I can (especially extra whipped cream—that’s definitely IN)

Now that we’re a month into the year, I thought it’d be fun to share some of the items I’m using so far to reach my 2023 goals. These are items I truly LOVE and reach for on a daily basis and I even have discount codes for some of them for you! In full transparency, I do earn a small commission anytime you buy something through one of my links, but I really am just sharing because it’s fun for me and hopefully helpful for you!

I’d love to read your IN/OUT list for 2023 and get some recommendations of items that you’ve been loving lately—leave a comment and share with me!

Manda
